I just got an e-mail from Microsoft today telling me that the beta's getting close, so I guess this is it. It's really on its way. (The beta.)

It's getting close...
Yeh, prepping for WinHEC no doubt ;o)

This is a snip of the e-mail I received.
It's getting close. If you're one of the more than 130,000 people who've already signed up for the TechNet Beta Central program that we recently announced, we'll soon be sending you information on how and where to get beta releases of Windows Vista and the 2007 Office System (and, later this summer, the Exchange 2007 Beta 2 release), suitable for serious testing, plus free support resources. I wonder why I didn't get that E-mail, as well? Microsoft must have my kevpan815@nospam.hotmail.com Microsoft Passport all messed up, because I only got the Regular Tech Net E-mail from Microsoft, just FYI.

Yeah BG is fed up with you, FYI.
P.S., so is SB, FYI. P.P.S., so is this entire ng, FYI. Frank, FYI
Well, it doesn't really matter if Microsoft Tech Net doesn't want to send me the E-mail that I requested, because I am now signed up for the Microsoft MSDN Beta Experience Newsletter (which will get sent to me from MSDN, because I am indeed a MSDN Operating Systems Level Subscriber), so hopefully they (The Microsoft MSDN Beta Experience Newsletter) will send me an E-mail Alert when the Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 Public Beta's come out, even if Microsoft Technet doesn't deliver the correct E-mail that I requested, just FYI.

Could it be that your address isn't realy kevpan815@nospam.hotmail.com? How would Microsoft know to send it to kevpan815@hotmail.com ?
